Giftedness has many uses in the life of a company. Since most of our work
with organizations is customized, we prefer to discuss your specific needs
and budget, and prepare an appropriate plan to meet them. The items
described below can guide you in thinking through the level of service
desired.
New Project Size-Up
When dealing with new clients, or when taking on new projects for old
clients, we must evaluate a company's needs and determine how (and
whether) we can be useful. When this discovery process involves more than
an introductory phone call, we ask the client to bear the cost of our
expertise to assess the situation and its demands. At the conclusion of
this size-up, we will furnish a brief written statement of our analysis
and recommendations.
Giftedness Profile®
This is the core assessment upon which all of our services are based. A
Giftedness Profile® includes the following:
- Preparatory worksheet to obtain key information and questions
- In-depth interview (generally 2 hours in length)
- Systematic analysis of interview transcript using proprietary methodology
- 30-page report summarizing the person's Motivated Abilities Pattern (MAP®)
- 2-page Giftedness Profile® report addressing the specific questions the individual needs answered (e.g. career options, job decision, learning style, etc.)
- 2-hour consultation to provide feedback, answer questions, and determine next steps (session taped for the participant's benefit)
Specialized Reports
Information on giftedness can be used to answer countless questions about
an individual employee. A Giftedness Profile® always includes at least one
interpretive report that addresses a specific question or issue. However,
additional reports can be furnished at any time. Topics include:

Discover Your Design
Discover Your Design (DYD) is an on-site workshop designed to assess
giftedness for groups and teams of employees at significantly reduced
cost. Led by a team from The Giftedness CenterSM, DYD involves a hands-on,
highly interactive process by which participants identify key elements of
their core strengths and motivation, then apply that information to
real-time issues they are facing in their jobs. DYD is available in either
one-day or two-day formats. We will discuss with you ahead of time which
format seems best for your group, and tailor the workshop to address the
specific concerns of your company. For example:

Hiring Reports
We offer a process called The Confidence Report® for assessing how well a
specific candidate matches a specific position. This quick but highly
effective process is a cost-effective way to provide hiring managers with
the most accurate and relevant information they need to evaluate the
advisability of a prospective hire.
To develop a Confidence Report®, we first assess the particulars of the
position in question. This involves answering a brief questionnaire,
followed by a brief interview with the hiring manager to gain a complete
understanding of the position.
Next we interview any candidates for the position that the company has
pre-qualified and to whom it may be interested in offering the position.
We conduct a 45-minute interview with each candidate (usually over the
phone), then use our proprietary methodology to analyze the relative match
between person and position. Upon completing our analysis, we contact the
hiring manager and provide a verbal report and answer questions concerning
the candidate (s).
Written reports are available for an additional fee.
Teams
Our work with teams is highly customized and depends on the particular
needs and concerns of the team as presented by the team leader or manager.
However, all of our work with teams involves the development of an
individual Giftedness Profile® for each team member, as described above.
Once we have that information, we can develop a "side-by-side" Team
Profile® which shows the giftedness of all the members of the team on a
single report. We meet with the entire team to go over the Team Profile®
and discuss its implications for the team's functioning.
Coaching
Individualized coaching is available for key leaders, managers, and
executives who want to optimize their performance, achieve specific goals,
or undergo personal change. A personalized plan will be developed at the
outset of the engagement, specifying objectives, frequency of sessions,
timetable, anticipated exercises, assignments, and projects, and fees.
Executive Search
The Giftedness CenterSM is exclusively committed to retained executive
search, as opposed to contingency search. Our fees are based on the
industry standard of one-third of the successful candidate's first-year's
compensation, plus expenses.
General Consulting
When our work involves time in addition to the hours built into the
services described above, we charge an hourly fee.
